Bill Schmidt collection of Frank Lloyd Wright printed material, ca. 1883-1987.

Collection consists primarily of single issues of journals, pamphlets and brochures (ca. 12 linear ft.) containing information about Frank Lloyd Wright and his designs. Most are architectural or home design magazines. One publication is Harwell Hamilton Harris's fine printed booklet, Architecture as an art, 1969. Included are publications and printed ephemera from the Taliesan Fellowship (ca. 1930s-1970s). The publications in Series II are arranged by Sweeney number. Two publications from the 1980s are not listed in Sweeney's bibliography.

He apprenticed with the noted modernist architects Richard Neutra and Rudolf Schindler until 1933, at which time he established his own practice in Los Angeles.
